...come down to the shop you're going to get a secondhand vinyl bargain.... We actually want to sell our 2nd hand Records and CDs to you. We want your money. We price to sell, pile it high and mark everything down monthly. Fresh stock goes out every Saturday and the regulars queue to get in. Our second hand vinyl starts at £2 and is almost all well under £8. We try to put out all our rare records and collectable records in the shop at half our expected auction price for you before we put them on evilBay. At the end of every month, we mark down all our unsold stock. You're going to find old, vintage and rare secondhand records in most genres if you're quick! We price our second hand CDs at £4-5. We make a huge effort to get interesting fresh vinyl and used CDs weekly and we price up according to artist, availability and condition.
Taste rules here, not fashion. It makes sense and it's musical justice.
Join the frisky ten thirty AM people, the one o'clock browsers, last night's sleep deprived DJs at four thirty or make an impulse purchase at closing time. We’ve got 3 listening decks. Come down and check our tunes. We are open Monday-Saturday 10:30-6:30, approximately.
We've been trading here for 11 years. This is Tom's fourth Rat Records shop after he was slung out of Greenwich. Between the 3 staff, we have over 50 weary years of record shop and music biz expertise. We know our stuff and will be nice to you, not like those other record shops and dealers.
